Who we are

Tuna ("Tuna", "we", "us") is a career platform operated from Kuwait and serving users across the GCC and MENA region. We are reachable at hello@tuna.works.

What we collect

Account data. Name, email, username, profile picture, and authentication identifiers from Google or Apple if you sign in that way. We store a hashed version of your password if you sign up with email.

Resume data. Whatever you choose to put into a resume on Tuna — work experience, contact details, education, skills, and any other fields you fill in. This is yours; you can export or delete it at any time.

Calculator inputs. When you use the end-of-service or social-security calculators, we store the inputs (country, salary, dates) anonymously to improve aggregate salary benchmarks. Guest calculations are not linked to any user.

Technical data. Standard web-server logs (IP, user agent, request path), Vercel analytics, error traces from our runtime.

Where your data lives

Databases are hosted on Supabase (Postgres) with the primary region in the EU. Generated PDFs and profile pictures are stored on Cloudflare R2. Emails are sent through a transactional provider. None of your data is sold.

How long we keep it

Your account data remains until you delete your account. Deleting from Settings → Danger Zone removes all associated resumes, exports, and calculator history. Backups are retained for up to 30 days beyond deletion for disaster recovery, then purged.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings. Under GDPR and Kuwait's Personal Data Protection regulations, you can also request a copy of everything we hold about you by emailing hello@tuna.works.
